After going 4-2 last week and increasing their lead in the league to three games, the Waynesboro Generals have climbed up to No. 9 in PGCrosschecker.com's Weekly Power Rankings.  The Generals were ranked tenth in the country last week.

Key performances mentioned specifically in the rankings were Butler's John Dages (6-0, 1.10 ERA), Tennessee Tech's Adam Liberatore (4-1, 3.25) and Belmont's Jimmy Stanley (10 saves). 

On Tuesday the Generals became the first Valley League team to clinch a playoff spot.
