How it happened: Front Royal held off Winchester in a game stopped in the sixth inning due to rain. Rene Lastres (UNC Charlotte) singled in a run in the first to put Front Royal on the board and the Cardinals added two more in the second to lead 3-0. Thomas White (Miami Dade) knocked in the two runs with a single. Winchester closed the margin to 3-2 with two runs in the fifth, but the rains came to end the contest early.
