For the second time in three week, the USA Signs Pitcher of the Week in the Valley goes to a San Jacinto Gator- this time, it’s DJ Burke, a Texas commit!

Burke, a physical righthander in Purcellville’s bullpen, did not give up an earned run in 12 2/3 innings pitched last week, along with six hits allowed, four walks, and 15 strikeouts. Overall this summer, he’s 0-1, 3.46 in 26 innings, with two saves, 27 hits, only six walks, and 33 strikeouts. (Stats through Sunday, July 10)
