COMING TOMMORROW: North Division Weekly Award Winners

Culpeper middle infielder Keeton Burroughs (Pittsburgh) is the VBL South Division Hitter of the Week and Harrisonburg’s Cannon Feazell (Clemson) is the South Division Pitcher of the Week for the opening week of the 2025 season.

Burroughs leads the VBL in hitting with a .526 average, going 10-of-19 at the plate. In five games, he has three doubles, seven runs scored and two RBIs. Burroughs has hit safely in all five games and has three multi-hit games. He was 4-for-5 in a 15-4 win over the Waynesboro Generals.

Harrisonburg’s Feazell picked up two wins. He pitched 11 innings and allowed just three hits while striking out 11. Feazell gave up one hit in six innings on the mound in a 15-0 win over Culpeper. He allowed one run on two hits in a 9-1 victory over Charlottesville.

WAYNESBORO: Jame Green II (Presbyterian) .448 average (13-for-29), 4 doubles, 8 RBIs, 9 runs scored

CHARLOTTESVILLE – Jackson Sirois (Virginia) hit .261 for the week with a double, three RBIs and two runs scored.
