Purcellville’s Kaleb Freeman (Georgia State) in the VBL North Division Hitter of the Week and Strasburg’s Connor Burt (Troy) is the Pitcher of the Week. The week included games from July 8-14.
Freeman hit .500 (9-for-18) for the week with a double, triple, three homers and 10 RBIs. He also walked seven times and scored nine runs.
Burt made two appearances and recorded one save. He pitched a total of six innings and allowed no runs and no hits. He struck out 12 and walked four.
