Cannons’ Hensley Named North Division Pitcher of the Year

Purcellville starter Connor Hensley has been named the VBL North Division Pitcher of the Year.

Hensley posted a 4-1 record with a 1.36 ERA. In his only loss, he pitched five innings and allowed one run on four hits in a game the Cannons lost 1-0 to New Market. Hensley pitched 33 innings and finished with 42 strikeouts and 10 walks. He tied for the North Division lead with four wins. He ranked No. 2 in the North in strikeouts, and No. 2 in the North in ERA among pitchers with at least 25 innings pitched.
