Culpeper’s Caleb Estes (Charlotte) is the South Division Player of the Week and Harrisonburg’s Jake Dorn (Miami) is the Pitcher of the Week.

For the week, Estes was 11-for-19 with five doubles, a homer and nine RBIs. Estes had one of most productive games in the VBL this season when he was 5-for-6 with three doubles, a homer and eight RBIs in a win over Covington. For the season, Estes is hitting .333.

Dorn pitched a complete-game, seven-inning shutout in a win over New Market. Dorn allowed three hits, struck out five and walked two.

Staunton: Wyatt Campbell (Florida Southern) was 5-for-11 with three doubles, two homers, seven RBIs and a 1.273 slugging,

Harrisonburg: In three games Jalen Evans (Wingate) was 4-for-11 with two doubles, eight runs scored, one RBI and four steals.

Waynesboro: Andrew Ildefonso (FIU) was 5-for-17 with two doubles and three RBIs

Charlottesville: Elijah Guilliams (Flagler) was 6-for-13 with a double, homer and six RBIs

Covington: Victor Sanchez (Oklahoma Wesleyan), 6-14, 1 HR, 6 RBI

South Division Pitcher of the Week Nominees

Culpeper: Alex Crudder (Lynchburg) made one appearance, pitching 2.1 innings. He allowed no runs on one hit while striking out five.

Staunton: Ismael Borrero (Mercer) allowed one earned run on three hits in 4.1 IP. He struck out nine, walked one and earned the win at New Market.

Waynesboro: Justin Mlodzinski (FIU) 7 IP, 0R 6H 9Ks 1BB

Charlottesville: Tim Lawson (UNC) 5 IP, 1 R, 1H 9Ks 3BBs

Covington: Jeffred Fermin (Miami Dade-Kendall) made two appearances, pitching 4.1 innings. He allowed no runs on three hits and struck out five.
