Southeastern Fire’s Darien Smith has been named the ABCA/Rawlings NAIA National Pitcher of the Year.
Smith pitched for the Charlottesville Tom Sox during the 2023 Valley Baseball League season.
Smith was 12-0 with a 1.87 ERA. In 96.1 innings, he struck out 130 batters and walked just 21.
