James Madison University sophomore Wyatt Peifer has been named to the 2024 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division I Gold Glove team.
Peifer, who played for the Strasburg Express in 2023, becomes the first JMU player to win a Gold Glove award, earning the third base spot on the team.
Peifer recorded a fielding percentage of .964, committing just seven errors in 194 chances while finishing with 138 assists. He helped turn 21 of the 59 JMU double plays this season.
