Former Dallas College Eastfield assistant baseball coach Ramon Garza was named the 2024 ABCA National Junior College Athletic Association Division III Assistant Coach of the Year.
Garza is now the head coach at Dallas College Mountain View.
In 2022, Garza served as the head coach of the Charlottesville Tom Sox. The Tom Sox won the Valley Baseball League championship that season. He played for the Charlottesville Tom Sox in 2019, winning the Valley League championship. Garza became the first person to win the VBL title as a player and a coach.
