The Washington Wild Things have re-signed former Harrisonburg Turks player Tommy Caufield for the 2025 season.
The left-handed hitting Caufield enters his third season of pro ball, all with Washington. He signed with the Wild Things out of Millersville University during the 2023 season and played in 49 games, hitting 13 doubles and three home runs. Last summer, Caufield had a 100-hit season, batting .283 with 16 doubles, four triples, 11 home runs and 59 RBI. He also stole 29 bases and continued to play stellar defensively at third base.
The Wild Things advanced to the Frontier League Championship Series in 2024.
