Several former Valley Baseball League players earned spots on the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association All-America team.
East Carolina pitcher Trey Yesavage (Charlottesville Tom Sox) was named to the first team.
Named to the second team were JMU OF Fenwick Trimble (Winchester Royals), Virginia catcher Jacob Ferrence (Charlottesville Tom Sox) and East Carolina pitcher Wyatt Lunsford-Shenkman (Charlottesville Tom Sox).
Earning a spot on the third team were William & Mary pitcher Nate Knowles (Staunton Braves) and Arizona State OF Kein Vu (Culpeper Cavaliers).
