Blaine Waltimyer, Penn-State Harrisburg (New Market), Jaime Padilla, Shenandoah, (Winchester) and Brooks Bollinger, Misericordia (Culpeper) were all named to the Fourth Team.
Waltimyer turned in one of the most productive offensive seasons in recent memory this spring. The junior broke out in a massive way, ranking third in the nation in doubles (24), sixth in the country in runs (68) and 20th in Division III in total bases (126). The outfielder also ranked 23rd among Division III players with 74 hits and his 57 RBIs rank 40th in the nation. Waltimyer was also named to the D3baseball.com All-American Fifth Team.
Shenandoah outfielder Padilla led the Hornets offensively with a .418 batting average. He paced the team with 71 hits, including 20 doubles, two triples, and five home runs. Padilla also tallied a team-high 52 runs scored and drove in 42 runs, while drawing 30 walks. The junior center fielder stole 14 bases, registered an OPS of 1.159, slugged .647, and had an on-base percentage of .512.
Bollinger led the Cougars and finished third in the MAC Freedom in hitting at .423. Bollinger scored 54 runs and hit a team-high 19 doubles to finish second in the MAC Freedom in both categories. He also stole 22 bases, good for a share of second place in the conference. Bollinger was third in the MAC Freedom with 45 RBI and tied for third with 63 hits.
