Charlottesville : Cade Belyeu (Auburn) was 1-for-2 with a sac fly, three RBIs. Belyeu hit his fourth homer of the season. James Taussig (Texas-San Antonio) was 2-for-5. Tommy Roldan (Virginia) was 2-for-2 with a double, three runs scored and one batted in. Isaac Fix (Davidson) pitched four innings and allowed just one hit. He struck out three and walked two.
Staunton 7, Waynesboro 4
Staunton :Nate Prince (Roanoke) was 3-for-3 with a sac fly, a stolen base and three RBIs. James Velazquez (Delaware) pitched four innings and allowed four hits and no earned runs. Nate Ward (Florida Southwestern) earned the save with two innings on the mound. Ward entered the game in the eighth with the bases loaded and no outs and did not allow a run.
Waynesboro: Bentley Yeatts (Longwood) was 2-for-4 with a double and two runs batted in. Jacob Payne (Gulf Coast CC) was 3-for-5.
Covington 5, Harrisonburg 4
Covington: Thomas Marsala (Hinds CC) was 2-for-5 with a homer. Kaleb Henry (Georgia Southwestern) was 2-for-3.
Harrisonburg: Cam Nelson (Wake Forest) was 2-for-3 with a double, a stolen base and two runs scored. Joseph Valchar (United States Military Academy) pitched four innings and allowed one run on three hits. He struck seven.
Strasburg 7, Woodstock 6
Strasburg: Kyle Edwards (ODU) was 2-for-5 with a homer and three RBIs. Chase Ingram (UAB) pitched four innings, allowing no runs on four hits. He struck out four and did not walk a batter.
Woodstock: Peeko Townsend (Blue Mountain) was 3-for-4 with two RBIs.
Purcellville 6, New Market 6
Purcellville: Jake Slade (Virginia Tech) was 3-for-5 with three RBIs. Jacob McKenzie (College of Central Florida) was 3-for-4.
New Market: Joshua Berzonski (PSU-Harrisburg) pitched five innings and allowed one run on five hits while striking out seven and walking one. Johnathan Mallow (Millersville) and Connor Laeng (Concordia) were both 2-for-4 with a run batted in.
Front Royal 13, Winchester 2
Front Royal: Jimmy King (Holy Cross) was 2-for-4 with three runs scored, two stolen bases and two RBIs. Delaney Powell (UNC-Asheville) was 3-for-5 with two runs scored and a stolen base. Christopher Hund (Southern Wesleyan) pitched 4.2 innings and allowed one run on four hits. He struck out six and walked three.
Winchester: Austin Lafferty (Akron) was 2-for-4.
