Covington relief pitcher Jorge Garcias has been selected as the South Division Pitcher of the Year.
Garcia made 12 appearances for the Lumberjacks, pitching a total of 21 innings. He posted a 3-1 record with four saves and a 1.28 ERA. Garcia finished with an outstanding strikeout-to-walk ratio, fanning 24 batters and walking just three. He allowed just 12 base hits, holding opponents to a .158 batting average.
