With the New Market Rebels’ rolling offense this week, outfielder Jackson Lancaster has been a standout. His slugging percentage and his ability to have quality at-bats at bat this week has placed him at the top of the league and secured this week’s honor.

Having a total 26 at bats so far this week, Lancaster holds a batting average of .423 — in the top five of the league. He’s scored seven runs this week alone, including two home runs. Lancaster also notched a season high five RBIs against the Cannons June 19. In three of his last six games, the outfielder held a 1.000 or higher OPS.

The Rebels play a double-header today against Covington Lumberjacks, giving Lancaster another opportunity to contribute to the team’s aggressive offense.
