Our week five USA Signs Hitter of the Week is Charlottesville’s Christian Martin!
Martin, a rising sophomore at Virginia Tech, was right in the middle of the Charlottesville offensive explosion, slashing .500/.636/1.071 in 14 at-bats, with 10 runs scored, two doubles, two home runs, 11 RBIs, six walks (and only one strikeout), and even three stolen bases without getting caught.
Overall, Martin is hitting .395/.478/.632 in 38 summer at-bats. (Stats through Sunday, June 10)
