ROCK HILL, S.C. – Former Staunton Braves RHP Marty Neal of the Limestone University baseball team has been named the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Baseball Pitcher of the Week as announced by the league office earlier this week.
Neal put together a sensational performance in a 6-3 win over Lincoln Memorial on Sunday, March 11 at Founders FCU Stadium, recording a program-record 14 strikeouts. Neal tossed a complete game against the Railsplitters while allowing only four hits, improving to 3-0 on the year.
