Misericordia two-way standout Connor Maryniak has been named the MAC-Freedom Conference Player of the Year.

Maryniak is hitting .373 with 12 homers and 61 RBIs. On the mound he is 9-2 with a 1.97 ERA.

The two-way standout was also named the conference tournament Most Outstanding Player after leading Misericordia to the championship.

In four tournament games, Maryniak was 4-for-14 with five RBIS, five runs scored, two doubles and a homer. He pitched a complete game in a 2-1 victory over Arcadia to clinch the conference title. He allowed just four hits and no earned runs while striking out three and walking one.
