Harrisonburg 6, Staunton 5

Harrisonburg took the lead with two runs in the fifth inning and held on for a 6-5 win over the Braves.

Tim Tyler (JMU) shut the Braves out over the final six innings, allowing just two base hits. He struck out five and walked one.

Gavin Groppuso (Wingate) and Owen Anchors (Clemson) each finished 2-for-4 for the Turks.

Jacob Lester was 2-for- 4 with a homer and two RBIs for the Braves. Miguel Hugas (Mercer) did not allow a hit in his two innings on the mound for the Braves.

Woodstock 9, Winchester 0

Noah Williamson (Wright State) allowed one hit in 8.2 innings as the River Bandits blanked Winchester 9-0. Williamson struck out seven and walked two.

Luke Keister (Shenandoah) was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and Jordan Evans (Mississippi College) was 2-for-4 and scored three runs. Barrett Eldridge (Rice) and Christian Toledo (Wayland Baptist) both homered for the River Bandits.

Purcellville 11, Covington 3

Connor Hensley (Rollins) pitched six strong innings to lead the Cannons to an 11-3 win over Covington.

Hensley gave up just one hit and both runs he allowed were unearned. He struck out nine and walked three.

Thomas Marsala (Western Kentucky) was 2-for-5 with a homer and two RBIs. Ethan Acevedo (Indian Hills CC) was 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Manny Ramirez Jr. (East Los Angeles CC) also homered for the Cannons.

Micah Calvert (Ranger College) pitched 3.1 innings out of the pen for the Lumberjacks. He gave up no runs on two hits while striking out four batters and walking one.
