Strasburg OF Brett Moseley (Mississippi) is the VBL North Division Player of the Week and Woodstock’s Sean Keener (Virginia Wesleyan) is the Pitcher of the Week.

Moseley hit for a .350 average in the opening week of the season and ranked among the league leaders in homers with four and RBIs with 10. His 1.450 OPS and his .500 on-base percentage were also among the league’s top marks. Mosely was also 3-for-3 in stolen bases.

Keener pitched eight innings in the opening week of play and posted a 1.13 ERA. In eight innings, Keener allowed seven hits and struck out five batters.
