With the regular season entering its final days, third place in each division is still unsettled.
In the North, Purcellville has clinched the No. 1 seed while Strasburg will enter the playoffs as the No. 2 seed.
New Market can clinch the No. 3 slot with a win Tuesday night at home against Front Royal OR a Winchester loss to Purcellville on Tuesday. A New Market loss AND a Winchester victory forces a tie.
In the South, Charlottesville is the No. 1 seed and Harrisonburg is locked in at No. 2. Culpeper plays at Covington and a win gives the Cavaliers the 3 seed. A Covington win forces a tie.
Head-to-head results will not break the tie. The New Market – Winchester season series is 4-4. If Covington defeats Culpeper, that season series will be deadlocked at 4-4.
The third seed would then be decided by tiebreaker scenarios.
