Former Harrisonburg Turks RHP Lane Pearson was among 54 pitchers named recently to the National Pitcher of the Year Watchlist.
Pearson is 5-2 on the season with 3.17 ERA over 65.1 innings. He’s held batters to a .233 average this season and racked up 72 strikeouts. Pearson ranks fifth in the ASUN in wins, third in ERA and is second in the league in strikeouts.
The pitchers on the watch list represent 20 different conferences and reflect the top mound performers to this point of the 2025 season.
The award will be presented later this year by the College Baseball Foundation.
