The South Division Player of the Week is Staunton Braves IF Wyatt Peifer (JMU) while the Pitcher of the Week is Culpeper’s Paul Witkop (Richmond).
In four games, Peifer was 12-for-15 for an .800 batting average. He also walked four times for a .842 on-base percentage. Peifer had two doubles, scored four runs and drove in one. He also stole five bases. Peifer raised his batting average for the season to .444.
Witkop made one start and blanked Charlottesville for five innings in a winning effort. He allowed one hit, struck out eight and walked one.

Waynesboro: Daniel Smith (Gordon State) was 7-for-14 with five runs scored, three RBIs and a double. Smith also stole four bases.
Harrisonburg: Clay Thompson (JMU) was 7-for-22 with four homers, seven runs scored and 10 RBIs in five games.
Culpeper: Maxwell Molessa (West Virginia) was 5-for-11 with a homer, double and five RBIs.
Covington: Jendy Gonzalez (Miami Dade) was 8-for-18 on the week with a homer, three RBIs and three runs scored.

Staunton: Parker Munday (Akron) made two appearances for the Braves, pitching 4.2 innings. He allowed two hits and no runs while striking out eight and walking one.
Waynesboro: Jack Dickinson (Niagara) pitched seven innings during week and allowed four hits while striking out five. He pitched to a 1.29 ERA.
Covington: Gavin Bennett (Potomac State) pitched 4.2 innings and allowed one run, no earned runs, on two hits. He struck out six batters.
