  • Woodstock 7, New Market 3: The Bandits got big hitting performances from Tristan Moore and Jose Hernandez, and six solid innings from Ryan Bradarich to win this one. The Bandits are 2-3; New Market falls to 3-2.
  • Winchester 11, Front Royal 4: The Royal lineup pounded out 16 hits, including four extra base hits, to run away from the Cardinals. Winchester is 3-3; Front Royal is 2-3.

Hitter of the Day

Our hitter of the night is Woodstock’s Jose Hernandez, who went 4-5, with a run, home run, two RBIs, and a stolen base. The freshman from Miami Dade has hit in all five games for Woodstock this summer, and is 9-21 overall, with a slashline of .429/.478/.571. This was his second outing of the summer so far; he threw four shutout innings in his first outing.
