The Valley Baseball League has selected teams to compete in the 2024 Prospect Showcase hosted by Liberty University and presented by the NACSB (National Alliance of College Summer Baseball).
Prospects from the South Division will play on Monday while prospects from the North will play Tuesday. The South team will play the New York Collegiate Baseball League on Monday at 2:00 p.m. The North team will play the Florida Collegiate League on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m.
Coaches for the South team are Randy Tomlin (Charlottesville), Brady Bogart (Staunton) and Jacob Walker (Covington).
Coaches for the North team are Charlie Shepard (New Market), Brian Wirth (Front Royal) and Cullen Smith (Strasburg).
Other leagues competing in the showcase include Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League, Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League, Southern Collegiate Baseball League and Sunbelt Baseball League.
