Staunton 17, Waynesboro 12
Staunton pounded out 20 hits to outlast the Generals 17-12.
Wyatt Campbell (Florida Southern) was 3-for-6, with his league-leading ninth homer, two doubles and five RBIs. Mikey Urbaniak (Longwood) was 4-for-4 with three runs scored and three RBIs. Jacob Lester (Trevecca Nazarene) finished 4-for-6 with two runs batted in. Lincoln Pack (Pensacola State) had two hits and drove in three runs and Zach Paczewski was 2-for-5.
Parker Wight (UNC-Greensboro) was 3-for-4 with two runs batted in for the Generals. Andrew Ildefonso (FIU) and Macaddin Dye (ODU) were both 2-for-5 and both drove in two runs. Noah Murray (Virginia) and Kealo Smith (Bluefield) both added two base hits. Seth Buchanan drove in four runs for Waynesboro.
Front Royal 6, New Market 2
Ryan Chase (Sante Fe) was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and Aydan McNelly (Marist) was 2-for-3 with one run batted in for Front Royal.
Noah Parks (Keystone) pitched seven shutout innings for the Cardinals. He allowed just two hits while striking out five and walking two.
Jake Henry Williams (Arkansas State) and Mike Dobkowski (Enterprise State) each had two hits for the Rebels.
Collin Porter (Pitt-Bradford) pitched six innings and allowed no earned runs on six hits. He struck out nine and walked one.
Strasburg 3, Woodstock 2
Strasburg broke a 2-2 tie with a run in the fifth and held of for a 3-2 win over the River Bandits.
Landon Beaver (UAB) drove in two runs for the Express and Jay Douglas (Eastern Kentucky had two base hits.
Jose Roig (Pasco Hernando) earned the save, pitching the final two innings, allowing no runs on one hit. He struck out three and did not walk a batter.
Jackson Lucas (Troy) was 2-for-4 for Woodstock.
Barrett Eldridge (Young Harris) pitched three scoreless innings and allowed just one hit for the River Bandits. He struck out three.
Purcellville 5, Winchester 4
The Cannons held off Winchester for a 5-4 win.
Anthony Fernandez (St. Bonaventure), Rohan Putz (Kansas State) and Ryan Gargett (Eckerd) each had two hits for the Cannons.
Connor Guy (St. Johns River), Benton Jones (Lynchburg), Parker Frey (East Stroudsburg) and Nick Avagnano (Richard Stockton) each had two hits for the Royals.
