Woodstock 5, New Market 2
Woodstock scored two runs in the fourth and two more in the fifth to defeat New Market 5-2 in a game that ended after five innings of play due to the weather.
William Tippett (South Carolina), Hunter Miller (Southern Indiana) and Sohrab Rezaei each drove in a run for the River Bandits. Tippett and Rezaei each had two base hits.
Michael Dobkowski (Enterprise St.) and John Dobkowski) Enterprise St.) each drove in a run for New Market.
Staunton 4, Culpeper 3
Jacob Lester (Trevecca Nazarene) drove in the winning run with a double in the bottom of the seventh, lifting the Braves to a 4-3 win over Culpeper.
Lester had two of Staunton’s four hits and drove in three runs.
Brady Clark (St. John’s) picked up the win, pitching the final 2.1 innings and allowing no runs on one hit.
Keeton Burroughs (Pittsburgh) and Cameron Turner (Charlotte) each had two hits for Culpeper.
Harrisonburg 2, Waynesboro 1
Harrisonburg pushed across the winning run in the top of the eighth to edge the Generals 2-1.
Turks’ starter Cannon Feazzell (Clemson) pitched six no-hit innings. He struck out seven and walked two.
Jakob Foster (Mt. Saint Mary’s) pitched four scoreless innings for Waynesboro and allowed just two hits.
Turks’ leadoff hitter Jalen Evans finished 2-for-4.
