Harrisonburg improved to 2-0 with a 9-1 win over Charlottesville.
Josiah Seguin (Chipola) was 3-for-5 with a homer and five RBIs to power the Turks. Phillip Garcia (Gulf Coast CC) was 4-for-5 for Harrisonburg.
Tum Tyler (JMU) earned the save, pitching four innings while not allowing a hit. He struck out eight.
Staunton 10, Waynesboro 0
Lincoln Pack (Pensacola State) belted a three-run homer and Mikey Urbaniak (Longwood) added a two-run shot in a 10-0 win over Waynesboro. Matt McGovern (Radford) was 2-for-3 with three runs scored and three stolen bases.
Braves starter Mason Tompkins (Winthrop) pitched six shutout innings and allowed just two base hits.
Waynesboro starter Jack Dickinson (Niagara) pitched three scoreless innings and allowed one hit.
Covington 7, Culpeper 6
Willy Mendez (Miami Dade) was 2-for-5 with three RBIs to lead the Jacks to a 7-6 win over Culpeper. Jason Bello (Dayton) was 2-for-3 with a solo homer.
Quindon Wright (Albany State) did not allow a hit in 2.1 innings and earned the win.
For Culpeper, Keeton Burroughs (Pittsburgh), Alejandro Ludiero (Lipscomb) and Colby Motley (VCU) each had two base hits.
Woodstock 5, Strasburg 2
Barrett Eldridge (Rice) belted a three-run homer in the eighth inning to snap a 2-2 tie, lifting Woodstock to a 5-2 win over the Strasburg Express. Eldridge also picked up the save on the mound, allowing one hit in the ninth inning.
Josh Ibe (Stephen F. Austin) and Cristian De Los Santos (Seminole State) each had two hits for the Express.
Winchester 14, New Market 4
Nic Rubendall (Shepherd) was 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBIs in Winchester’s 14-4 win over New Market. Jaime Padilla (Shenandoah) had three hits for the Royals while Connor Guy (St. Johns River), Nick Avagnano (Richard Stockton), AJ Labrusciano (Rider) and John Emendorger (Charleston Southern) each added two hits.
Matthew Murphy (Salem CC) had two hits for the Rebels.
Front Royal 8, Purcellville 7
Jackson Hill (Texas-Arlington) drove in the winning run with a single in the ninth as Front Royal walked off Purcellville 8-7.
Anthony Fernandez (Monroe) was 3-for-3 with two RBIs Aiden Aparicio was 2-for-5 for the Cannons.
