Following are some of the top performances turned in Saturday night in the VBL.

Front Royal: Jimmy King (Holy Cross) was 4-for-6 with a homer, two RBIs and two stolen bases. Cooper Milford (Georgia) was 3-for-5 with two doubles. Mark Schweickert (Allegheny) pitched six innings to get the win. He allowed three hits and no earned runs while striking out five and walking four. Payton Barton (Black Hawk) earned the save, going three innings and allowing one run of three hits while striking out four and walking one.

Winchester: Jaylen Hernandez (Winthrop) was 2-for-4 with a double and one run batted in.

New Market: James Wilson (Jacksonville State) pitched six innings and allowed two runs on three hits to get the win. He struck out six and walked two. James Henry Williams (Arkansas State) and Chaise Albus (East Stroudsburg) both finished 2-for-4 at the plate.

Purcellville: Nick Gravel (Keystone) pitched two perfect innings of relief and stuck out four batters.

Woodstock: Brady Whitacre (Radford) was w-for-4 with a double and two RBIs. Aiden Sites picked up the win, pitching three innings and allowing no runs on one hit while striking out one and walking two.

Strasburg: Diego Villescas (New Orleans) was 2-for-3 with a stolen base and Geremy Garcia (Miami Dade Kendall) was 2-for-5 with a double and one run batted in.

Culpeper: Jon Howard (Mount Olive) was 1-for-3 with a homer and two RBIs.

Charlottesville: Cade Balyeu (Auburn) was 2-for-3 with a pair of solo homers. Robbie Lavey (George Washington) was 2-for-5 with a run batted in. Brett Gastman (Charleston Southern) was the winning pitcher, going three innings and allowing no earned runs and no hits. He struck out three and walked one.

Staunton: Charlie Keller (Jacksonville State) was 1-for-3 with three RBIs. Breckin Nace (Radford) pitched three innings and allowed no earned runs and one hit. He struck out five and walked one.

Waynesboro: Jacob Payne (Gulf Coast) was 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Gio Gomez (Seminole State) was 2-for-5 and Aidan Miller (Eastern Mennonite) was 1-for-3 with two RBIs.

Covington: Gabriel Gutierrez (Temple) pitched five hitless innings against the Turks. He struck out four and walked one. Thomas Marsala (Hinds) was 2-for-3 with two runs scored.

Harrisonburg: Mathew Delgado (Rogers State) was 3-for-4 with two RBIs. Carson Morton (Wingate) pitched four shutout innings, allowing one hit while striking out six and walking two.
