A quick word on the Purcellville at Winchester game that was postponed yesterday. Police found three suspicious packages in the park where the Royals play- not the stadium itself, but the surrounding area (Jim Barnett Park). They cleared the park to take care of the issue. At about 4:15 PM, everything was deemed safe, but by then, given the light issue at the stadium as well, the game could not be played. It’s been that kind of summer, folks!
