Jackson Sirois (Maryland) drove in the winning run in the bottom of the 12th inning to give the Charlottesville Tom Sox a 5-4 win over Culpeper in the title game of the South Division playoffs.

Lee Sowers (UNC) led off the 12th with a single for the Tom Sox and moved to second on a sac bunt by Perry Hargett (UNC).

Sowers took third on a wild pitch and Kyle Langley (JMU) walked to put runners at first and third. Sirois then hit a grounder to third, scoring Sowers with the winning run.

Culpeper took the lead with three runs in the second. Pado score the first run as part of a double steal. Two more runs scored on an infield error.

Charlottesville tied the game with three runs in the fifth. Hargett put the Sox on the board with a run-scoring double. Another run scored on a wild pitch before Langley tied the score with a base hit.

Culpeper regained the lead in the sixth when Pado doubled and scored on a single by Estes for a 4-3 Cavaliers lead.

The Cavs were two outs away from winning the game, but the Sox rallied to tie the score. French doubled with one out and scored on a single by Hudson Lutterman (Va. Tech) to tie the score.

Trevor Booton (Auburn) came out of the Sox bullpen and pitched 3.1 innings of scoreless relief to keep the game tied. Winning pitcher Alex Bingler (JMU) worked out of a bases-loaded jam in the top of the 12th.

Anderson French (Va. Tech) was 2-for-4 for the Tom Sox.

Caleb Estes (Charlotte) was 3-for-3 for the Cavaliers and Blagen Pado (Coastal Carolina) was 2-for-5 with two doubles.

Mason Breton (Long Island) gave the Cavaliers a strong effort down the stretch, pitching the final six innings. He allowed two runs on four hits. Breton walked five and struck out five.
