Charlottesville’s Randy Tomlin, who coached the Tom Sox to the South Division pennant and the VBL Championship has been named the South Division Coach of the Year.

Tomlin led the Sox to a 26-13 record in the regular season as his team finished four games ahead of second-place Harrisonburg.

Charlottesville survived a three-game series with Culpeper to advance to the championship series where the Tom Sox edged Purcellville in three games.

The Sox finished with a 32-15 overall record.
