  • Jason Hinchman, Tennessee Tech (New Market 2018): 3-5, three runs, two RBIs, two home runs. He’s now .385/.478/1.271 in 169 at-bats, with 42 runs, nine doubles, 20 home runs, 53 RBIs, and a 27/45 BB/K ratio.
  • Pierce Bennett, Wake Forest (Charlottesville 2021): 5-5, run, four RBIs, home run. He’s now hitting .379/.474/.509 in 161 at-bats, with 42 runs scored, nine doubles, four home runs, 36 RBIs, and a silly 22/16 BB/K ratio.
  • Blaze Koali’i Pontes, Hawaii (Purcellville 2019): Six innings, three hits, one run, two walks, six K’s (Game score: 66). Pontes is 2-0, 2.91 in 46 1/3 innings, with 18 walks and 59 strikeouts.

Sunday

  • Bryson Worrell, East Carolina (Waynesboro 2019): 3-4, two runs, four RBIs, two home runs, stolen base. Worrell is hitting .303/.376/.517 in 178 at-bats, with 34 runs, 27 RBIs, seven doubles, two triples, nine home runs, and 18 walks against 38 strikeouts.
  • Cooper Ingle, Clemson (Charlottesville 2021): 3-4, four runs, two RBIs, two doubles, home run, walk. He’s at .358/.454/.536 in 179 at-bats, with 47 runs, 35 RBIs, 11 doubles, seven home runs, and a sterling 32/24 BB/K.
  • Ryan Murphy, JMU (Front Royal 2021): Eight shutout innings, two hits, one walk, four K’s, win (GS: 81). Murphy was named co-Pitcher of the Week in the CAA for the performance. He’s now 3-2, 3.38 in 50 2/3 innings, with 11 walks and 36 K’s.
  • Emmett Bice, Charleston (New Market 2021): 7 1/3 shutout innings, three hits, two walks, five K’s, win (GS: 75). His first start! He’s now 2-0, 1.86 in 19 1/3 innings, with 12 walks and 20 K’s.
