Strasburg 4, New Market 0   

Express Highlights: Three Strasburg pitchers combined on the shutout. Starting pitcher Logan Waldschmidt (Pasco Hernando) went four innings and allowed one hit. He struck out five and walked one. Aaron Schaefer (Bethune-Cookman) went 2.2 innings and got the win, allowing one hit while striking out six and walking one. Even Bert (VC) finished up with 2.1 innings. He allowed two hits, struck out five and did not walk a batter. Connor Chisholm (Mississippi) and Cade Carr Samford each went 2-for-4 and Geremy Garcia was 3-for-4 with a solo homer.

Rebels Highlights: Kevin Hager (Cornell) had two of the Rebels’ four hits, finishing 2-for-3 in the game. Jake Henry Williams (Arkansas State) pitched five shutout innings in relief, allowing just three hits. He struck out nine and walked two.

Purcellville 4, Woodstock 2

Cannons Highlights: Purcellville won despite having just two hits. Mitsuki Kohno (Christian Brothers) had both hits, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases. JQuann Smith (FIU) and Gavin Braland (South Carolina) drove in runs for the Cannons. Corey Costello (ECU) and Aiden Adams (San Jacinto) combined to allow just two runs in eight innings. Costello went 4.1 innings, allowing one run on one hit. He struck out five and walked five. Adams worked 3.2 innings, allowing one run on three hits, while striking out three and walking two. David Eckaus (FIU) got the save, working a 1-2-3 ninth.

River Bandits Highlights: Luke Keister (Shenandoah) was 2-for-4 with a run batted in. Kayden Faulcon (Pittsburgh) and Rhett James (UNC-Pembroke) combined to hold the Cannons without a hit for the first five innings. Faulcon went three innings with three strikeout and two walks while James pitched two innings with four strikeouts and two walks.

Winchester 6, Front Royal 4

Royals Highlights: Jaylen Hernandez (Winthrop) was 3-for-5 with a homer and two RBIs. Cord Copley (Stephen F. Austin) picked up the win, allowing just one run on five hits in five innings. He struck out five and walked one. Nick Lorenz (North Florida) pitched the ninth to get the save.

Cardinals Highlights: Rueben Livingston (Harford) was 3-for-5 with a solo homer. Ledy Alvarez (Jackson State) was 2-for-4.
