The pairings are set for the upcoming VBL playoffs with action slated to start Thursday evening.
Winchester grabbed the final spot in the North Division. The Royals defeated Purcellville 10-2 Tuesday evening and that win, coupled with New Market’s 11-3 loss to Front Royal put Winchester in the playoffs as the No. 3 seed.
In the first round of the North Division, Winchester will travel to No. 2 Strasburg for a one-game playoff with the winner advancing to meet Purcellville, the No. 1 seed, in a best-of-3 playoff series.
In the South, Harrisonburg, the No. 2 seed, will host No. 3 Culpeper in a one-game playoff with the winner moving on to meet the top-seeded Charlottesville Tom Sox in a best-of-3 series.
