The Cannons led 4-1 after two innings and went on to defeat Winchester 6-2.
Anthony Fernandez (St. Bonaventure) was 3-for-3 with three RBIs. Jackson Micheels (Purdue-Fort Wayne) drove in two runs for the Cannons.
Cannons starter Mason Hoheisel (Maplewoods CC) pitched four innings and allowed one run on two hits while fanning five batters. Hazen Lancaster (UNC-Greensboro) pitched three scoreless innings and allowed three hits to go along with five strikeouts. William Ricketts (Bluefield State) picked up the save, pitching two innings and allowing one run on two hits.
Parker Frey (East Stroudsburg) was 3-for-4 for the Royals.
Woodstock 7, Front Royal 6
Woodstock took an early 7-1 lead and held off a Cardinals comeback in the final three innings to win 7-6.
Hunter Miller (Southern Indiana) was 3-for-3 with two RBIs for the River Bandits. Eli Hudgins (Radford) had two hits and Barrett Eldridge (Young Harris) drove in three runs.
Jackson Lucas (Troy) pitched six innings to get the win. Lucas allowed one run on three hits while striking out six and walking one. Connor Bryson (Hendrix) pitched 1.2 innings to get the save. He allowed one run on two hits.
Isaiah Frost (Missouri) was 3-for-4 with a homer and three RBIs to lead the Cards. Ryan Chase (Sante Fe) was 2-for-4.
