This week the VBL held off on naming Pitcher and Hitter of the Week due to the Rain that hit the Valley last week and so many games being moved and rescheduled.
This Weeks Hitter of the Week is Strasburg Express and Davidson University Infielder Michael O’Shaughnessy. The big LHH Infielder had himself quite the week for the Express. During the last seven days, O’Shaughnessy is hitting .538 with 3 HRs and 12 RBI.
This Weeks Pitcher of the Week is none other than Harrisonburg Turks LHP Gehrig Conrad. Conrad had himself quite the start the other night. Gehrig struck out 14 batters in 5.2IP vs the Front Royal Cardinals on June 27th.
