Covington had themselves a clean sweep of the Weekly Awards this week, as Logan Braunschweig and Grant Adams win the Hitter and Pitcher of the Week Awards. Presented by Sentara and LD&B.
This Weeks Hitter of the Week is Covington Lumberjack and UAB Blazer, Logan Braunschweig. Logan hit .500 on the Week with 11 Hits in 22 At-Bats. He also was a terror on the basepaths, swiping 7 Bags. He also drove in 6 RBI, drew 6 Base on Balls and only struck out twice.
This Weeks Pitcher of the Week is RHP Grant Adams of the Covington Lumberjacks by way of Georgia Southwestern State. The RHP picked up 2 Wins on the Week without allowing an earned run in the 11 Innings that he pitched. He was able to strike out 11 Hitters and only issued 3 free passes.
