Toronto Blue Jays RHP Trey Yesavage, who pitched in the VBL for the Charlottesville Tom Sox, will get the start on Friday in Game 1 of the World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Yesavage will be making just his seventh Major League Baseball start. He is 2-1 in three postseason starts, including a win in Game 6 of the ALCS against Seattle that forced Game 7.
